..
Don's Foundation was founded by his family to promote and fund
his favorite cause........The Alternative Break.
College students choose to spend their Vacations breaks helping
others less fortunate.  This was Don's passion.

"We are so proud of the
Great example that Don
set for young Students.
He chose to use his
vacation breaks
to travel with fellow
students and
help others in need,....
and he had Fun doing it!
We are now dedicated
to spreading the
"good word" about Don
and encourage other
students to do the same"

Having FUN...
...Helping Others

Jim & Renee' Wauldron
Since the beginning of the Foundation in 2009, the Don Ausman
Foundation has donated over $100,000.00, primarily to 3 Colleges;
FLAGLER COLLEGE, University of St. Augustine
and Michigan State University.

Many College students that would choose an Alternative Break
do not have the funding to pay for their expenses while away.
Donations from the Don Ausman Foundation adds some
financial aid for some generous young students who
choose to help others on their vacation breaks.
Here's Don (way in the back left raising his arm) in Mexico, helping a local school
of very poor children.  Don's Alternative Break Group from Michigan State University
had a Great time.......and they had a Great time helping a local community rebuild
their broken School.  You can see the Happy looks on the faces of these kids with
the presence of these great,  young and kind students.

MSU Alternative Spring Break Students Honor Don
Don was to be one of the Site Leaders at the  MSU Alternative Spring Break, which
took place from March 7th thru March 14th.  His fellow students dedicated this trip in his
honor and named it
"The Don Ausman trip to New Orleans."
The Alternative Spring Break Students chose New Orleans for Spring Break 2009.
They traveled to New Orleans and worked with the Belle Reve Family Home, helping
adults and families living with AIDS and HIV-related infections.
The
Don Ausman Foundation has donated $1,850.00 to help subsidize this trip.
Special Thanks to those who have purchased "Don's FRIENDS" T-shirts
and made contributions to this Great Cause......making this possible.
The Foundation has also donated,  "Don's FRIENDS" T-shirts to all of the Students.
Don's Family is so proud of Don and HONORED to be part of this Great Cause.
